This project is inspired by the natural dye indigo. Drawing from the Gyroporus cyanescens mushroom, which reveals a vivid indigo blue when exposed to oxygen, the collection explores quilted outerwear constructed with mixed materials to symbolize the mushroom’s transformative state. The project was a collaboration with Humkah Latib (Fashion Design & Textiles, LASALLE College of the Arts).
